April 19, 2012 Album Recording Sessions almost completed Back from Vienna after 10 days, from my last album recording session - it's as good as done!! At least my part is over. So strange when all those tiny little jigsaw pieces suddenly snap with a barely audible "click" and the whole picture appears before your eyes…

November 13 Fall / Winter Tour We'll be playing
our last tour for this year - coming to Aachen, Cologne, Wegberg, Osnabrück and more. There'll be some Duo shows featuring Rainer Winch on percussion and some solo shows. Check it out!
August 26 New producer / new albumin the making Works on the next album have begun, with producer Alexander Nefzger from Vienna, Austria, and his co-producer Florian Pilz.
Recording sessions have already started in Berlin, and will be continued in Vienna.

April 2 Höfner Endorsement Happy to announce: Julia A. Noack is now endorser for the instrument manufacturer Höfner. She will be playing her new Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar at the international music fair Musikmesse Frankfurt on April 6. More info here.

Feb 13 Single & Remixes & Videoof Sudden Twist
On March 4, there will be a Single Release of Sudden Twist, the song from the latest album 69.9. Remixes have been made by Volker Meitz (Sonar Kollektiv, Jazzanova) and Gernot Ebenlechner (Freedom Satellite/Vienna Scientists).
Also, there is a new video accompagning the release, made by Villi Asgeirsson (Oktoberfilms). Check it out!

Wenn man mal drüber nachdenkt, dann gibt es kaum Songwriterinnen aus Deutschland, die sich elegant und selbstverständlich auf englischsprachigem Terrain bewegen. Die Wahl-Berlinerin Julia A. Noack ist aber so eine. "69.9" ist erst ihr zweites Werk, doch bereits jetzt hat sie definitiv einen eigenen Stil gefunden. War das Debüt-Album "Piles & Pieces" eher noch ebendas - ein Haufen angesammelter Teile nämlich -, so überrascht "69.9" mit einer eigenen Vision und einem eigenen Sound. Da ist zunächst mal Julias Stimme, die eben nicht wie alle anderen Fräuleinwunders klingt. [...] Dann sind da Julias Texte, die ganz ohne die zuweilen ungelenken Klischees nicht muttersprachlicher Künstler auskommen[...]. Und letztlich überzeugt Julia hier als Songwriterin, die etwas wagt: Nämlich ausholende Melodiebögen und poppige Refrains, die eben NICHT aus Credibility-Gründen gebrochen oder verbogen werden, sondern schlicht ausgelebt werden. [...] Also: "69.9" ist eine selbstbewusste, runde, zugängliche Songwriter-Scheibe mit ganz eigenem Flair geworden.
